With COVID, quarantine and working from home, sweat pants aka joggers have become the normal work from home attire.
And for some like head style queen- in- charge Vogue Editor Anna Wintour, even proclaimed them the style item of the moment!
But with restrictions being loosened and people returning to work. People are very hesitant to give up the comforts of the sweat pant or jogger. And have question how appropriate it is to wear to work.
If you happen to be one of said people, not to worry… there are a few little rules to follow when transitioning the jogger from your “Work from home” go- to and wear them out of home to work.
It’s all about all about finding the perfect balance between relaxed and still professional.
Here are some very helpful tips to follow
1. When looking for a back to the office suitable sweat pant / jogger try a “jogger” style with a tapered leg and a cuff at the ankle. That detail alone can instantly make the whole look appear more polished.
2. You don’t want them too baggy, I really recommend that they definitely don’t have a drop crotch.
3. Oh, and when in doubt, just add a tailored blazer to dress up your outfit. It’ll usually does the trick when it comes to looking pulled together and polished.
