In terms of transition fashion, you can’t go past the Trench. This season the trench has be done and redone in different styles because it lends itself to the transitional/ in between weather, especially here in Melbourne where I could say it’s “transitional” all year round.
The trench is a statement of style and should be an item in every woman’s wardrobe.
It can cover a multitude off sins when closed up. If the trench you have is pretty structured it can give you a clean finish and polish when thrown over an outfit.
This season the trench is also done in a lighter fabric (the duster coat) and can be worn over a summer-esque outfit when it gets warmer.
* side note If you are looking for an investment Trench coat you cannot go past Burberry. It’s pretty pricy but a classic. It will last you a life time. Well worth the investment.
